Education: Bialik High School Class of 2013, Dawson College Class of 2015, McGill Political Science Student. Born and raised in Montreal, the Canadiens have always been a big part of my life. What started out as a way to blow off some steam after a tough loss in the 2011 playoffs eventually became a popular hit with Facebook friends around the internet. On PGT, I like to dissect each and every Habs game and promote discussion about the team. Other interests: Aside from Hockey and sports in general, I love music. During the summer I work for Camp Wingate, a sleep-away sports camp just north of Montreal. Ryan White and Ian Schultz Called Up

Ryan White and Ian Schultz have been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL. The team announced the transaction Sunday night. White, who is coming off sports hernia surgery, has 4 goals and 1 assist in 4 games with the Bulldogs. Schultz, who was the other player involved in the Jaroslav Halak deal that brought Lars Eller to Montreal, has 3 goals and 10 assists in 36 games with the 'Dogs. He is also a +3 on a team with a lot of "big" minuses. Schultz and White each bring size and grit to a team that is lacking just that. Now as Habs fans, we can only ask ourselves, is there a trade coming?

If you haven't seen Ian Schultz play, watch this. Man is a truck.

NHL100 Classic

In one of the multiple outdoor NHL games this season, the Canadiens will face the Ottawa Senators at TD Stadium in Ottawa on December 16th.

Here are more details, as well as the newly released jerseys:

For tickets:

Jordie Benn

How's this for a stat; in just 29 games, Jordie Benn has already set a career high in goals with 4. That is more than all star defensemen Erik Karlsson, Brent Burns, Victor Hedman and Dustin Byfuglien... COMBINED!!

Check this tweet out from Ken Campbell of The Hockey News:

Daniel Carr

What a story this kid is. Not the biggest, not the fastest, not the most skilled, but he just has a knack for scoring goals. Since the Canadiens called him up from the Laval Rocket four games ago, Carr has amassed 6 points and is leading a very productive fourth line in Montreal.

It seems as if he has cemented his spot on the roster. Well deserved.
